Why choose Bulkey controllers?
Individual management of each key
You can manage each key in the system individually. You can delete it, replace it with another one, or temporarily disable it. If you lose a key you do not need to overwrite all the keys but you can delete only the missing one. This will not affect the normal operation of all other user keys.
Small size
BKU controllers are extremely small, which allows them to be installed in thin-profile doors without the need for unnecessary installation of a storage box. All you have to do is connect the electric lock and power supply on one side and the reader on the other.
Innovative mounting system
BKU controllers in combination with the LPDD module, in addition to stand-alone, can also be installed on existing intercom systems without the need for unnecessary breaking and wiring. If your building already has an existing intercom system, the controller can be connected to it quickly and easily without installing new cables.
Two operating modes
Depending on your needs, each BKU controller has two operating modes. You can always change the mode yourself.
- Automatic mode – this mode is the most commonly used in access control. When you unlock a door and then close it, the lock will lock automatically. This is convenient for common entrances, or homes where you do not need a manual lock.
- Manual mode – In this mode the lock does not lock until the electronic key is re-attached to the reader, even if the door is closed. Used in cases where the door needs to remain unlocked for a long time.
Light indication
The light indicator of the reader shows you the current state of the lock – unlocked / locked. It will also indicate a lack of mains power, a fault in the battery and others. This helps a lot for the timely reaction in case of a problem.
They can work with more than one reader
You can connect more than one reader to the controller. This makes it extremely applicable in a variety of solutions such as two-way access control. In the standard case, when you lock a door there is only a reader on the outside to which you pass a valid key, on the inside you exit by pressing a button / handle. The BKU controllers allow a second reader to be placed on the inside of the door and so one will not be able to exit unless there is a valid key..
